Dragons Range Will Deploy Meru Networks 802.11ac Wi-Fi at Clubhouse to Deliver Uninterrupted Internet Access to Tenants

(21 Jan 2015, Hong Kong) Cyber On-Air (Asia) Limited (“Cyber On-Air”), a premier technology provider of broadband, multimedia and wireless solutions, will deploy Meru Networks’ 802.11ac Wi-Fi system at clubhouse of Dragons Range, a brand new residential development,  enabling tenants to enjoy an always-on wireless connectivity. The network will utilize Meru AP822e 802.11ac access points.

Situated at 33 Lai Ping Road in Kau To Shan, Shatin, Dragons Range is a joint development by Kerry Properties, Sino Land and Manhattan Group. It offers a total of 973 residential units. The innovative virtual Wi-Fi, single-channel architecture from Meru is a controller based system which is a highly reliable system which makes it capable to address high densities of mobile devices and seamless roaming at the clubhouse.

Meru AP822e is a cost-effective, dual-radio, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN access point with a 2x2:2ss design. It can operate in the 2.4 GHz band for 802.11 b/g/n and in the 5 GHz band for 802.11 a/n/ac to deliver an aggregate data rate of 1.2 Gbps for demanding applications such as video and voice.
